FAQ

What is VOKAL?

A VST3 plugin that puts vocals in time. It detects every word, snaps it to the grid on its accented vowel, keeps pickups before the beat and preserves the groove. It also creates vocal chop variations, matches tempo, cleans up and exports.

Which systems and DAWs are supported?

Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), VST3 format. VOKAL is tested in FL Studio. Other VST3 hosts may work but are not officially tested yet. There is no macOS version at the moment.

Which language does word detection support?

English.

How does the timing work?

Quantize Strength goes from 0 to 100%. Tight puts every word exactly on the grid, Natural keeps a small human offset, and Keep original leaves the timing as recorded. You can also set an offset in milliseconds for each word.

Is there a free demo?

Yes. The demo includes every feature with two limits: export is disabled, and 1.5 seconds of silence plays every 45 seconds. The demo download is coming soon. Until then you can hear the timing feature in the interactive demo on the VOKAL page.

How is VOKAL delivered?

Digitally. After payment you receive an email with your download link and your licence key. Nothing is shipped.

How does activation work?

Paste your licence key into VOKAL and press Activate. VOKAL activates online once and then works offline.

Can I use it on more than one computer?

One licence activates one computer at a time. To move it, press Deactivate in VOKAL on the old computer, then activate on the new one. If the old computer is lost or broken, write to us and we will reset the activation.

Where can I find my licence key?

In your order email and in your customer account.

Can I get a refund?

Please try the demo first. Details are in our Refund policy.

How do updates work?

Updates are announced by email to licensed customers and can be downloaded with your existing licence key.
