Every snare roll, locked to the drop. ROLL builds a tech-house snare roll from synthesized 707, 808 and 909 one-shots, or from a sample you drop on the panel, and follows your host tempo up to a hard drop on beat 1.

Roll engine

• SNARE. 707, 808 or 909 one-shots, or your own sample dropped on the panel.
• BUILD and GROOVE. Shape how the roll builds and swing every second step on 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32 grids; quarters and triplets stay straight.
• LENGTH 4, 8 or 16 bars. The roll always lands on beat 1.
• Sound controls. Pitch, Cutoff, Resonance, Drive, Decay and Volume.

FX

• Reverb. Mix, Size, Decay, Pre-Delay, Low Cut and Tail On Last Hit.
• Delay. Mix, Feedback, Width and 1/8, 1/8D or 1/16 division.
• Draw automation points and curves on the timeline; the knobs move with the curve as it plays.

Custom Rhythm

• Large pattern editor on its own CUSTOM RHYTHM page: add, move, delete, duplicate and set velocity.
• Straight and triplet grids in the same pattern; the snap only sets the grid for the next edit.
• Your hits stay. Reseeding and presets leave the hits you placed in place; CLEAR removes only those.

Workflow

• AUTO. A roll runs in every LENGTH-sized cycle while your DAW plays; loops and seeks pick it up at the right hit.
• PLAY / PAUSE always visible. Preview from the movable listening line on any page; PAUSE stops without a click and PLAY resumes from there.
• MIDI trigger. Play a note to start a roll from that moment, even with the transport stopped.
• Drag MIDI and Drag Audio straight into your project.
• Activate your licence and check for updates from the Info panel.
